Job Summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a skilled CDL Roll Off Driver to join our team. As a CDL Roll Off Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a roll-off truck to collect and transport waste and recyclables to our disposal facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a roll-off truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collect and transport waste and recyclables to our disposal facilities, following established routes and schedules.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment, reporting any issues or concerns to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of collections, including weights and volumes of waste and recyclables.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a CDL driver, preferably in the waste industry.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

The CDL Roll Off Driver will work in a fast-paced environment, exposed to various weather conditions and physical demands. The driver will be required to wear personal protective equipment, including a hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
