Senior Director, Finance Job Description

At Flipside Crypto, we're seeking an experienced Senior Director of Finance to drive revenue growth and lead our finance business partner efforts. Reporting to the Flipside CFO, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that fuel our growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a subject matter expert across all finance-product integrations, ensuring seamless payment rails, tax compliance, and operational processes.
  2. Conduct financial analysis and modeling for new product development initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI projections, and break-even analysis.
  3. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align product roadmaps with financial objectives and resource allocation.
  4. Own costs and forecasts related to COGS: Snowflake, AWS, node operations, and data pipelines.
  5. Prepare and present financial reports, KPIs, and insights to executive leadership and stakeholders on finance and product development.
  6. Coordinate with the accounting team on payments, reporting, data for accounting, and related processes for community payments.
Revenue Finance Focus

As a Senior Director of Finance, you will play a critical role in evaluating revenue opportunities, analyzing financial performance, and identifying areas for optimization. You will also develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue growth and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a strong background in partnership and revenue finance, and product finance required.
  • Experience in fintech and/or payments, with emphasis on being the SME within a growing fintech product stack.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders at all levels.

Estimated salary range: $180,000 - $220,000 per year.
