CCO/CFO Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Finance/Business/related.
  • 10+ years of direct residential real estate investment experience.
  • Strong familiarity with the business-purpose lending industry.
  • Expertise in construction management and real estate valuation.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams for over 10 years.
  • At least 5 years of legal experience within institutional capital markets.
  • Experience in 1-4 unit residential development = a plus.
  • Salesforce or Sage Inaact = a plus.


CCO/CFO Responsibilities:

As CFO/CCO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial and credit functions of the organization while ensuring compliance and fostering growth.

Credit Oversight:

  • Lead the loan committee to approve or modify loan originations, extensions, and workouts.
  • Spearhead business development for lender finance initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain robust risk management and compliance frameworks.
  • Oversee loss mitigation efforts for classified assets.
  • Ensure compliance with covenants in capital market loan agreements.

Financial Leadership:

  • Oversee all aspects of financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital management.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure regulatory and legal compliance across financial operations.
  • Optimize capital structure to drive profitability and growth.
