As a Youth Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and guidance to youth in our residential program. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A Typical Day as a Youth Care Worker

In your role as a Youth Care Worker, you will engage with residents through meaningful interactions and activities. Your day will begin with welcoming the residents and establishing a positive atmosphere. You will facilitate various activities that encourage social interaction and creativity, helping residents to express themselves and develop new skills.

Your responsibilities will extend beyond supervision; you will serve as a mentor and role model. This includes documenting residents' progress, collaborating with the treatment team to create individualized care plans, and assisting with daily tasks such as meal supervision and laundry. Additionally, you may transport residents to appointments or activities, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day. By the end of your shift, you will have contributed to a nurturing environment that promotes growth and stability.
