Position Overview
Pathway Family Services, LLC. is dedicated to providing essential resources for youth and families through various programs, including the Independent Living Program, TRAIL (Teens Reaching Adult Independent Living), and specialized foster care services.
Compensation:
****Average hourly rate is $15.00 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)****
Role Responsibilities:
- Supervise youth residing in onsite apartments, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Conduct basic clerical and maintenance tasks to uphold a tidy office environment.
- Audit client files to meet Quality Improvement standards.
- Work flexible hours and cover additional shifts as needed.
- Create a secure and supportive learning atmosphere for adolescents.
- Provide necessary information to relevant agencies regarding the youth.
- Model essential life skills, including communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making.
- Complete all required documentation, including logs and reports.
- Instruct adolescents on independent living skills such as budgeting, job readiness, and personal hygiene.
- Ensure youth have the necessary household items for their apartments.
- Offer on-call support and utilize non-physical methods for de-escalation.
- Facilitate educational and situational counseling for youth.
- Monitor youth engagement with community resources to enhance their employment and educational opportunities.
- Inspect youth apartments as necessary to maintain safety and security.
- Drive personal or agency vehicles for transportation of youth or agency-related activities.
- Promote cultural sensitivity and teamwork in all interactions.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a High School Diploma/G.E.D. and be at least 25 years old, in accordance with agency regulations. A Bachelor's degree in Human Services is preferred. A valid driver's license is also required.
Available Shifts:
- 3rd Shift - Wednesday to Sunday, 11 PM to 8 AM
