Job Summary

This is a part-time, Adjunct Faculty position in the Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services Department at The Tennessee Board of Regents institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Criminal Justice, including instruction, academic advising, and related activities.
  • Develop and implement curricula, instructional materials, and assessments.
  • Maintain accurate student attendance records, grades, and other required records in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Attend faculty meetings, college assemblies, and other meetings as required.
  • Stay current with developments in the field through professional development and literature.
  • Participate in departmental and college committees, and provide outreach services to the community.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in the teaching discipline or a related field with 18 hours of graduate work in the teaching discipline.
  • Minimum two (2) years teaching experience in higher education or one (1) year teaching experience and three (3) years employment in the field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of current teaching and learning strategies to facilitate student-centered learning.
  • Ability to integrate technology into course delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
