Job Summary

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position in the Department of Mathematics at Southwest Tennessee Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics courses, developing curricula, and maintaining accurate student records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach mathematics courses to students at various levels
  • Develop and implement curricula for mathematics courses
  • Maintain accurate student attendance records, grades, and other required records
  • Provide academic advising and support to students
  • Participate in departmental and college committees
Requirements
  • Master's degree in mathematics or statistics from an accredited institution
  • 18 hours of graduate-level coursework in mathematics
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the community college level
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching mathematics courses at the community college level
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues
