Key Responsibilities
  • Administer aerosolized respiratory medications and chest percussion as ordered, ensuring accurate documentation of all treatments and therapies.
  • Maintain clear patient airways, proper oxygen titration levels, and ventilator settings in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
  • Complete assigned educational programs, tests, and classes, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Perform clinical and diagnostic procedures with precision and accuracy, adhering to established policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an AMA-approved educational program in respiratory care.
  • Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the State of California.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association, plus certification in specialty areas as appropriate.
  • 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in critical care.
