Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse Role to join our team at Cook Children's. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will be responsible for providing ambulatory nursing care to patients under the direction of physicians and/or nurse practitioners. This role involves conducting patient and family assessments, developing care plans, and educating patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management.

Responsibilities:
* Conduct patient and family assessments to identify needs and develop care plans
* Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions

Requirements:
* Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing
* Minimum 1 year pediatric nursing experience in a clinic or office setting preferred
* Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas
* Current CPR certification
