Job Summary

InGenesis is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. This role requires providing care to patients, responding to medical emergencies, and collaborating with the healthcare team.

About the Role
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and perform functions in accordance with current accepted standards.
  • Evaluate patient needs and assist in developing nursing care plans.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate responses as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Vocational/Practical Nurse program.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted LVN/LPN license in the state where the duty station is located.
  • One year of professional experience as a licensed vocational nurse/licensed practical nurse.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Verbal and written proficiency in Spanish (preferred).
Physical Demands
  • The work requires physical exertion, including standing, walking, or jogging over rough surfaces; bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; or lifting moderately heavy patients or equipment.
  • The work may require specific physical characteristics and abilities, such as agility and dexterity, visual, and hearing capabilities.
