We are seeking a creative and passionate intern to join our team at Intrinsic Development. As a Civil/Landscape Design Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in site analysis, zoning/code research, concept planning/site planning, and presentations for various projects.

Located in Lee's Summit, Missouri, we offer a unique chance to work on mixed-use, multifamily/residential, and commercial projects with amenities and recreational components. Our company has built over 3.5 million square feet of projects, with an additional 300,000 square feet currently under construction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting site analysis and research including code requirements
  • Preparing conceptual designs, site layouts, and parking studies
  • Developing detailed designs for construction
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on a wide range of projects

To qualify for this position, you should have:

  • A current enrollment in drafting, civil engineering, landscape design, or a related field
  • Experience with Lumion, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Land FX, Adobe Creative Suites (PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, Sketchup), GIS/ArcView, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills

With a salary range of $18.00-$20.00/hour based upon experience, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Civil/Landscape Design field while working with a dynamic team.
