Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at MCR Hotels. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk during the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register guests and process room assignments
  • Manage front desk operations, including handling guest inquiries and resolving issues
  • Prepare and balance daily reports, including financial transactions and security checks
  • Conduct security walks and maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Initiate and complete the End of Day process, including transferring master or house accounts
  • Run morning reports and complete any additional reports as requested by management
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all guest and hotel information
  • Document all guest requests, complaints, or problems, and notify designated departments for resolution
  • Follow up to ensure completion and guest satisfaction
Requirements
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
  • Problem-solving skills to effectively deal with internal and external customers
  • Basic English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to obtain alcohol awareness certification (if required by the State)
  • Willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly

  • Experience in a hotel or related field
  • Brand knowledge and experience
