We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual (English & Spanish) Care Provider to join our team at Maryville Academy. As a Care Provider, you will play a vital role in the lives of our Unaccompanied Children, providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily care and guidance to a diverse population of Unaccompanied Children, including assistance with daily routines, recreational activities, and education.
- Conduct oneself as a positive role model, promoting desirable behavior patterns and establishing trust with the children.
- Ensure the basic needs of the children are met, including nutrition, hygiene, clothing, and daily routines.
- Provide safe transportation of children to various scheduled activities.
- Complete all required logs, forms, and reports, and attend a minimum of 20 hours of advanced training/workshops annually.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in human services preferred.
- One year of child welfare experience working with children and/or adolescents.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) language competency required.
- Ability to use good judgment, think quickly, and rationally in stressful situations.
Maryville Academy offers a competitive salary of $20.00 - $21.38 per hour, as well as a range of benefits, including PPO health insurance options, vision insurance, dental insurance, FSA and HSA, 403(b), paid vacation and sick days, 9 paid holidays a year, long-term disability and life insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
