- Inventory Management: Manage inventory of medicines and drug stocks to ensure adequate supplies and control.
- Emergency Response: Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergent problems, in addition to regular scheduled appointments.
- Patient Greeting and Reception: Greet and receive patients, discreetly ascertaining the nature of their illness or condition, and direct them to appropriate care.
- Communication and Record-Keeping: Respond to requests for routine non-medical information, receive and screen phone calls, file and maintain healthcare records, and input daily patient information into the healthcare information system.
Requirements:
- Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or diploma.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CMA within the past 36 months.
- Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
