Job Title: Senior Performance Analyst

The Vermont State Auditor's Office is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Performance Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Performance Analyst, you will play a critical role in improving and holding government accountable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct complex auditing concepts and analyze evidence to draw conclusions.
  • Develop and implement a systematic approach to analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in performance auditing and data analysis.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Rigorous work ethic and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data analysis tools and software.
  • Knowledge of government auditing standards and procedures.
