Maternal Float Pool Registered Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Maternal Float Pool Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a Maternal Float Pool RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Maternal Float Pool unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork among colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year of Nursing experience.
