Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) to join our team in the Nursing Float Pool. This is a part-time, 12-hour, night position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing direct patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse within the scope of the CNA licensure.
  • Perform basic technical skills, including CPR, taking and recording vital signs, and administering treatments as directed by a physician or nurse.
  • Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, mouth and skin care, grooming, and dressing.
  • Provide patients with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed.
  • Maintain unit supplies by stocking patient rooms and supply areas to meet patient care needs.
  • Document relevant patient care data.
  • May provide clerical support to the unit, including order entry, chart processing, and answering telephones.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) licensure in Washington state.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care facility, preferably in a nursing float pool setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age-specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
