Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Float Pool team at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our Med/Surg units.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
  • Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards
  • Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence
  • Ensure own professional effectiveness through education and professional development
  • Participate in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures, and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection prevention program
Requirements
  • Current Washington or Multistate license required by date of hire
  • American Heart Association/American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers required by date of hire
  • 1 year of acute RN experience required unless job is designated for the New Grad Residency Program
  • ACLS & NIHSS required within 6 months of hire
