RN Med Surg Nurse

The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. As a proactive and collaborative team player, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive individualized care that meets their unique needs.
Core Responsibilities- Perform the Nursing Process, using evidence-based practice and analytical thinking to deliver individualized care.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and significant others to set and achieve patient goals, using effective communication methods.
- Practice using current clinical practice standards, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care, promoting a professional care delivery model.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, practicing in a fiscally responsible manner and promoting the recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.
- Complete initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population-specific education.
- Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses, ensuring a qualified workforce and modeling the professional practice of nursing.
Associate's Degree in nursing or graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing. Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience.
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s)- Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
- Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
