Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Forescout solutions.
  • Execute administrative functions such as configuring policies, rules, and system settings within the Forescout platform to align with the organization's security protocols.
  • Develop and implement tailored policies, rules, and workflows within the Forescout environment.
  • Update Forescout systems with modifications to network subnet definitions for effective discovery.
  • Establish real-time monitoring for network endpoints and devices.
  • Configure alerts and notifications for security incidents and anomalies.
  • Monitor and evaluate network traffic to identify potential security threats or vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of Forescout deployments to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with organizational and cybersecurity standards.
  • Resolve technical issues related to Forescout deployments promptly.
  • Troubleshoot various issues associated with Forescout platforms, including discovery, network accessibility, SNMP interactions with network devices, and collecting ARP and MAC information.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and advancements in Forescout technology.
  • Integrate Forescout with other security tools and systems (e.g., SIEM, NAC, IDS/IPS) for comprehensive threat detection and response.
  • Perform additional duties, including supporting inventory management processes and contributing to the completion of specific programs and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with SCI.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Forescout Engineer/Administrator, with a solid understanding of Forescout deployments, operations, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in managing Forescout technologies, including policy development, network segmentation, comply-to-connect (C2C), and integration with other security tools.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems, network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant certifications such as Forescout Certified Engineer (FSCE), Forescout Certified Professional (FSCP), and/or Forescout Certified Administrator (FSCA) are highly regarded.
  • Experience in supporting and configuring Forescout eyeSight and eyeControl platforms.
  • Experience with the deployment or daily maintenance of Forescout CounterACT appliances or other NAC solutions, including Cisco ISE.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field (Cybersecurity and/or Engineering).
  • Ability to work within VMWare, VCenter, and Nutanix while building Red Hat systems.
  • Familiarity with Splunk.
  • Understanding and experience with common cybersecurity toolsets and processes, including STIGS, IAVA management and implementation, and OPORD/FRAGO support.
  • Demonstrated experience in an analysis simulation environment.
