As a key leader in our organization, the Nuclear Operations General Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, assigning, and evaluating both semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel based on their expertise and experience. This role involves training employees to enhance the quality and efficiency of their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor staff to improve work performance and productivity.
- Recommend and assist in the development of training programs to elevate employee skills.
- Translate broad strategies into actionable plans, ensuring all team members are equipped to execute these plans effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all technical specifications, including adherence to drawings and procedures.
- Oversee manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that significantly impact the company's financial performance.
- Monitor job and budget performance across all shifts, ensuring qualified trades staff are effectively managed.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess either a Bachelor’s degree or an apprenticeship with a minimum of 4 years of production supervisory experience, or a non-Bachelor’s/non-apprentice background with at least 6 years of combined production supervisory and/or craft experience.
