This is a full-time, 1099 contractor position that offers competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will have the flexibility to work from home and enjoy a strong advocate who will negotiate with schools on your behalf.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored virtual instruction to K-12 students with moderate to severe disabilities, helping them reach their full potential and achieve their IEP goals.
- Partner with educators, parents, and school teams to create and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address the unique needs of each student.
- Monitor student progress, making data-driven adjustments to teaching strategies to ensure continued growth and achievement.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and your dedicated advocate to ensure that students receive the necessary support and resources to succeed.
Licensure & Certification Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Oklahoma Special Education Teaching License with a focus on Moderate/Severe Disabilities.
- Must meet Oklahoma's state requirements for background checks and continuing education.
