Job Overview
As a pivotal member of the management team, the Front Desk Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the front office operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and operational efficiency. This position involves collaborating closely with the Front Office Manager or Operations Manager to lead daily activities and supervise front desk personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all front desk activities to guarantee a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Utilize checklists and management calendars to ensure operational success during shifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and oversee the hotel’s sundries or gift shop.
- Conduct engaging pre-shift meetings to align team objectives.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and internal audits to meet operational benchmarks.
- Supervise front office operations in the absence of senior management.
- Empower staff to deliver exceptional customer service and provide constructive feedback on service behaviors.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
- Analyze operational performance and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Facilitate regular departmental meetings to communicate goals and expectations clearly.
- Participate in employee development initiatives, including training and mentoring programs.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications
