Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee all aspects of clients' personal insurance policies, including renewals, endorsements, and claims
- Provide quotes for personal lines products, explain coverages, and actively pursue new business opportunities
- Assist clients through the claims process, acting as a liaison between the client and insurance carriers
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional personal lines insurance products to current clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their personal insurance needs and providing exceptional service
- Address and resolve any client inquiries, disputes, or issues in a timely manner
- Ensure all activities adhere to insurance regulations and company policies, staying up to date with California insurance laws
- Maintain accurate and organized client records using the agency management system
- Work closely with underwriters, carriers, and internal teams to fulfill client requests and meet sales targets
- Bachelor of Science degree in a business-related field
- A valid California Property & Casualty Insurance license
- 5+ years of relevant work experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager or a similar role within the insurance industry
- Strong understanding of personal lines products (e.g. homeowners, auto, umbrella, etc.) and policies
- Proven ability to identify and pursue cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
- Prior work experience with agency management software (e.g., AMS360, EPIC)
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to resolve client problems or concerns
- Ability to collaborate with a team and contribute to a positive office environment
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship at all times
