Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Biology, Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial hygiene or environmental sectors.
Core Certifications: While certifications are preferred, they are not mandatory. Candidates must be willing to pursue certification based on state regulations. (GHP supports and invests in educational growth.)

The Environmental Remediation Technician will possess a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between environmental hazards and human health in constructed settings. The role requires proficiency in sampling and analyzing potential hazards, along with a solid scientific background and a keen interest in environmental health impacts.
Job Duties Include:
- Conducting tests and analyses to identify, mitigate, and manage occupational health risks.
- Collecting samples of dust, gases, vapors, and other hazardous materials for laboratory analysis.
- Assessing the adequacy of ventilation, exhaust systems, lighting, and other workplace conditions affecting employee health and comfort.
- Sampling building materials for asbestos, mold, and other hazardous substances.
- Evaluating exposure to various forms of radiation and noise, recommending protective measures.
- Performing field measurements and safety evaluations related to industrial hygiene.
- Conducting workplace assessments for health hazards through observation, record analysis, interviews, and monitoring.
- Determining and implementing appropriate monitoring and sampling strategies.
- Maintaining and calibrating a variety of sampling and monitoring equipment.
- Interpreting monitoring results, making informed decisions, and developing corrective actions.
- Preparing detailed technical reports of findings.
- Ability to achieve results through collaboration with team members and external consultants.
- Strong memory and note-taking skills.
- Ability to inspire trust and motivate colleagues.
