Job Title: Environmental Compliance Specialist

Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits at our airport facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and monitor environmental permits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with environmental audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement plans to correct environmental-related permit impacts.
  • Provide guidance to MNAA employees and contractors on permit requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to environmental permits and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., environmental science, biology, chemistry).
  • 2-4 years of experience in a permitting-related field with a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Valid CLASS D Driver's License.
  • OSHA HAZWOPER certification (within 180 days of hire).
  • Tennessee Level I EPSC Certification (within 180 days of hire).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an environmental-related field with a Bachelor's Degree.
