Job Overview

The Law Offices of Hanna Brophy is seeking a Part Time HR Administrative Assistant to support the Human Resources department in various administrative and organizational functions.

This role is ideal for an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely notification and tracking of supporting functions for new hires
  • Administer background checks and monitor progress
  • Assist with job postings, screening applications, and coordinating interviews
  • Work with HR Director and department managers to implement recruitment strategies
  • Track candidate status and follow up as necessary
  • Provide backup support for business cards and new hire paperwork
  • Prepare HR documents and maintain employee personnel records

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic email platforms
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
