Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neuro ICU team in Somerville, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients in our Intermediate Neurosciences Units. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Neuro ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and report patient status to the healthcare team, including vital signs, lab results, and other relevant information.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • 1 year medical-surgical experience required; ICU experience preferred.
  • Neuroscience Intermediate experience preferred.
  • Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
