Overview

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing care and conducting assessments for patients across all age groups, adhering to the standards set by Parkview Health System and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.

Educational Requirements

Candidates must be graduates from an accredited nursing program. Completion of General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and specific practice orientation is mandatory.

Licensure and Certification

Current state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license is required. Additionally, a valid CPR certification is necessary. Depending on the specialty area, further certifications may be required.

Experience

Applicants should possess adequate clinical experience relevant to their assigned area. A background in customer service, along with the ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously, is essential.

Additional Qualifications

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must. Candidates should be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting with weights of up to 100 lbs.
