Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Practical Nursing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, creating personalized care plans, administering nursing care, and supervising nursing assistants and other staff in delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health and develop tailored care plans.
- Administer nursing care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Supervise and guide nursing assistants and other personnel to ensure optimal care delivery.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control policies.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing practices.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A current, unencumbered license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues.
- Knowledge of proper safety and sanitary techniques.
- Flexibility to work scheduled hours as required.
While previous experience in long-term care is preferred, it is not mandatory. We are committed to the continuous development of our staff and residents.
