Accounting and Financial Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting and Financial Services Specialist to join our team at BlueStar Resort & Golf. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, tracking and controlling daily banking activity, and preparing and processing sales tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial data and records
  • Track and control daily banking activity
  • Prepare and process sales tax returns
  • Monitor and reconcile credit card activity
  • Maintain fixed asset records and related support
  • Balance sheet account reconciliation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • One to three years' related accounting experience
  • Computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Previous experience or interest in learning the hospitality industry
  • JD Edwards accounting software is highly desirable
