About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe and effective use of medications, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and business performance.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve pharmacy operations, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients and customers, and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Lead and develop your pharmacy team, and provide coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Inventory Management: Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
  • Financial Profitability: Analyze and improve pharmacy financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks to pharmacy operations and patient safety.
  • Workflow Management: Optimize pharmacy workflow to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License: Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state where employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Must be certified in immunizations through an accredited organization.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check and be free of any felony convictions or pending charges related to controlled substances.
