Position Overview

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking applications for a full-time faculty role in the Department of Restorative Sciences within the School of Dentistry. This position is available at an open rank and tenure status.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will engage in:

  • Graduate-level teaching within a vertically integrated curriculum.
  • Conducting research that contributes to the field of Prosthodontics.
  • Mentoring students to enhance their clinical skills and professional development.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a DMD/DDS or equivalent degree and have completed a CODA-accredited Advanced Education in Prosthodontics residency. Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Prosthodontics is preferred. Candidates should have experience in preclinical and clinical teaching, along with a background in research.


Preferred Experience

Prior academic teaching and research experience is highly desirable.
