Faculty Opportunity in Pediatric Cardiology

The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a talented individual to join our esteemed Division of Pediatric Cardiology as an Open Rank Faculty member.

We are a collaborative team of cardiologists, cardiac intensivists, anesthesiologists, and cardiac surgeons dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients with congenital heart disease. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures a continuum of care, from diagnosis to treatment and beyond.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with an MD, DO, MBBS degree or equivalent, and board certification or eligibility in pediatric cardiology. Advanced training in multimodality imaging, including echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and cardiac CT, is essential. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing and interpreting noninvasive cardiac imaging, participating in general outpatient specialty clinical activities, and providing inpatient services.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in our team-oriented environment. A history of excellent communication and evidence of exceptional clinical and teaching skills are necessary. Preference will be given to individuals with a strong interest in scholarly activities and clinical/translational research.
