Mechanical Engineer II

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join our team at Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing mechanical solutions that meet the demands of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Design mechanical solutions with a focus on product reliability, maintainability, manufacturability, and cost
- Investigate reported issues and develop corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present solutions and provide constructive feedback
- Perform root cause analyses and develop effective solutions
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Thrives in fast-paced environments
- Proven expertise in root cause analysis and field investigations
- Knowledgeable in GD&T, drafting practices, and CAD tools
- Familiarity with aerospace materials and aircraft seating certification requirements
