Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic Technician to join our team at Emcor Inc. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring they are properly installed, aligned, and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, align, dismantle, rig, and move machinery and mechanical equipment according to plan layouts.
  • Assemble machinery and equipment before installation using hand and power tools and welding if needed.
  • Test equipment after installation to ensure compliance and function.
  • Identify and repair problematic parts of a machine by running tests, making temporary repairs, or installing new parts.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn-out pieces, and lubricating mechanical parts.
  • Use machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts.
  • Assemble and install equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, pumps, compressors, extruders, turbines, and blowers.
  • Assemble machines and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures.
  • May operate engine lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts, repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
  • May be involved in the grouting activity for equipment base plates.
Requirements
  • Strong mechanical abilities with limited millwright experience or experience working on industrial machinery.
  • Welding experience.
  • HVAC and Sheetmetal experience.
  • Plumbing experience, screw pipe, brazed pip, PVC, etc.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English.
