About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Electronics Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Pactiv Evergreen. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing electrical and electronics support to our manufacturing facility to maximize safety, quality, and production uptime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and Electronics Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faulty production and related plant equipment with minimal supervision using provided schematics, manuals, and drawings.
  • Equipment Installation and Testing: Install equipment and test run to ensure proper functionality.
  • Spare Parts Inventory Management: Develop and maintain store room spare parts inventory and establish a withdraw, return, and re-order procedure.
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrate team-oriented leadership qualities and lead coworkers in assigned tasks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain necessary records and established maintenance procedures.
  • Environmental Safety: Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Additional Duties: Assist with tooling setup and maintenance as needed and perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Team Leader.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Three to five years of experience in a related field and a mechanical pretest to employment. High school graduate required. Completion of a vocational or trade school curriculum from an authorized school with a concentration in electro-mechanical courses desired.
  • Technical Competencies: Demonstrates ability to accurately post data from one source to another in ERP or peripheral software systems. Ability to communicate effectively and work closely and productively as part of a cross-functional team. Ability to create and/or exhibit an atmosphere of openness, honesty, trust, and teamwork.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, standing and walking for extended periods. Climb, heed safety warnings, devices, and alarms. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs. Occasional lifts up to 75 lbs. All lifts over 75 lbs require 2-person lift or mechanical assistance.
