As a key member of the Medicine Journal team, we are seeking an experienced IT Application Analyst III to provide application system support and collaborate independently with systems business/clinical management. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of IS processes as well as software application support.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical resource to identify, analyze, prioritize and resolve system needs
- Use cases, workflows, and metrics to configure, maintain, and monitor system use
- Develop functional specifications and operational process flows, department procedures, business requirements, or other necessary documentation for approved system enhancements or modifications
- Collaborate independently with IS management and provide suggestions for potential application modifications, enhancements, or business process changes as appropriate
- Develop metrics and KPIs designed to monitor the performance of management and staff in achieving SLAs, adhering to process, and the timely recording of pertinent data
- Communicate effectively with users, colleagues, and developers
- Provide estimates for moderate to complex work efforts
- Support multiple concurrent projects and/or application modules, educate and coach other team members, and manage user expectations
- Manage tasks, resources, and project plans for team assignments
- Baccalaureate degree in Information Sciences or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of operational experience in clinical or healthcare, business, or operation setting, or minimum of five years of functional and/or systems analysis and reporting
- License/Certification/Registration: Complete education and pass certification in assigned EPIC application module(s) within 120 days of completed education
- EPIC certification in the module(s) being represented
- Experience in EMR installations
