Business Systems Analyst

Xpress Global Systems (XGS) is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to partner with our IT team in driving digital transformation efforts. As a key contributor to our growth and success, you will play a crucial role in translating project requests into software requirements for our development team.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategy & Planning: Meet with stakeholders to define business, financial, and operations requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
- Acquisition & Deployment: Coordinate the planning, design, development, training, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
- Operational Management: Manage the development product backlog, stakeholders, and customer needs, and prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives to address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems.
- College diploma or university degree in business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems, and 7-10 years of related work experience.
- Strong business knowledge, comfort in working and leading a team of developers, and proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions.
- Familiarity with database systems, programming languages, and web technologies, with preferred working technical knowledge of SQL.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills, and excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it, and highly self-motivated and directed.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure, and strong customer service orientation.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, and ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment, but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in all areas as required.
