Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at Kedplasma. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors through thorough medical evaluations and screenings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations and screenings of donors to ensure their suitability for plasma donation.
  • Review and approve donor laboratory data and collection records to determine continued suitability.
  • Make informed decisions regarding donor suitability, taking into account laboratory results, medical history, and other relevant factors.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure the highest level of care for our donors.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Provide medical oversight and guidance to our staff, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and developments, applying this knowledge to improve our donor care and services.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current licensure in the state where you will be providing services.
  • CLIA certification or willingness to obtain it prior to contract execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with donors, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and patient safety.
