Instructor for Medical Assistant Training Program

We are looking for a Program Instructor for our Medical Assistant Training Program to:

1. Deliver educational courses and associated laboratory exercises, including theoretical and practical instruction and assessment.

2. Ensure that both coursework and clinical lab activities align with educational objectives.

3. Inspire and engage students effectively.

Educational Requirements:
Minimum - Associate Degree in a Health Care or Education-related discipline.

Preferred - Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Health Care or Education-related field.

Professional Experience:


Minimum - At least two (2) years of full-time clinical experience as a certified medical assistant or registered nurse, with instructional experience in either classroom or clinical environments.


Preferred - A minimum of five (5) years of full-time clinical experience as a certified medical assistant or registered nurse, including teaching experience in classroom or clinical settings.


Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).

Preferred - CMA, Registered Nurse (RN), and Phlebotomy certification.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Ability to perform and instruct on various daily tasks related to Medical Assisting.

Comprehensive understanding of procedures and techniques utilized by Medical Assistants.

Capability to evaluate student performance in clinical environments.

Ability to comprehend scientific literature pertaining to medical assisting and nursing.

Skill in explaining complex concepts related to anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

Physical Requirements:

Light:

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
