About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Trauma Sales team at Stryker Employment Company, LLC. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing a high-performing sales team in the Orthopedic marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and exceed territory market share objectives.
  • Analyze market information to identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans and marketing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local hospital staff, surgeons, and internal teams to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of sales team members.
  • Monitor and manage budgets and expenditures to ensure effective use of resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute sales initiatives and marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business or medical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience, preferably in the medical device or industry.
  • 2+ years of sales management experience and/or demonstrated ability to work with and lead others to accomplish sales goals.
  • Knowledge of current office technologies (MS Office suite, databases, etc.).

Travel Requirements

This role requires frequent travel, approximately 30% of the time, to meet with customers, attend sales meetings, and participate in training programs.
