Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Automation Technician to join our team at Michael Foods Inc. in the Village of West Jefferson, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical/E&I/Automation systems and be able to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex equipment.

The salary for this position is approximately $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer relocation assistance and other competitive benefits.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with safety work rules and regulations at all times.
  2. Maintain equipment productivity and efficiency through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
  3. Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Perform regular maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
  5. Repair and replace defective parts as needed.
  6. Adjust equipment components as required.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical/E&I/Automation systems.
  • Knowledge of Tetra Pak and Evergreen equipment a plus.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions and diagrams.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
