Job Description

The New IEM, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Power Automation Expert to join our team. This position will serve as the subject matter expert on custom repeatable Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Switchgear products from the field service perspective.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, commissioning, collecting data, and performing maintenance on switchgear and related core products. You will also provide technical software and hardware trouble shooting support to field service technicians on site.

This role requires strong technical skills, including proficiency in automation programming languages, ladder logic, and industrial power system controls and monitoring technologies. Experience with ATO programming in PLC's, Protective Relays, and HMI's is also essential.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate current and new technologies, optimize existing systems, and ensure seamless operation across our system network interfacing to customer SCADA monitoring systems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSEE or MSEE
  • 5 years' experience as an electrical engineer
  • 4 years' minimum experience working with power control systems, including PLC's, Protective relays and HMI's
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License a Plus

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
