Job Overview

The New IEM, Llc is seeking an experienced Electrical Power Controls Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our power automation group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced automation systems for our customers.

About the Role

This role requires a strong understanding of power system controls and monitoring technologies, as well as experience with industrial power system controls and monitoring protocols. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate current and new technologies, optimize existing systems, and ensure seamless operation across our system network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design & Development Support: Assist in developing and implementing power automation system operations, including control systems, monitoring and data acquisition.
  • System Integration: Lead and support the field service team on integrating new automation technologies with existing power system infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and performance.
  • System Optimization: Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability and scalability of power control and communication systems.
Tech Requirements
  • Proficiency in automation programming languages and ladder logic (IEC, Python, Java, SQL, HTML)
  • Experience and proficient with industrial power system controls and monitoring technologies.
  • Familiar and Experience with the TCP/IP suite
  • Experience working with EPMS and BMS data center systems
