Role Overview

The Strategic Account Executive will spearhead the sales initiatives for ThousandEyes Enterprise Accounts targeting potential clients and channel partners in France. This role is pivotal in driving new business growth within the designated territory by cultivating strategic relationships with large commercial clients. The Executive will formulate and implement detailed account strategies and ensure success in key areas such as territory management, pipeline development, presentations, trial management, pricing, negotiations, and closing deals. This position is an individual contributor role with specific sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities that align with the ideal customer profile for ThousandEyes to maximize solution value and enhance product adoption.
  • Establish contact and maintain professional follow-up for all sales engagements within the assigned territory.
  • Achieve all sales objectives and booking targets in line with company growth goals while exploring revenue expansion opportunities across existing accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with Cisco Account Managers and other sales specialists to drive revenue growth for ThousandEyes.
  • Work in partnership with Customer Success teams to promote product adoption and usage, and with Product Management to understand future needs that will stimulate demand for ThousandEyes.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills with a results-driven mindset; proficient in delivering compelling sales presentations, conducting onsite visits, and demonstrating products to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with ThousandEyes customers and partners in a professional and effective manner.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and yearly booking targets while providing reliable sales forecasts.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy.
  • Accelerate new customer acquisition and upsell opportunities within existing accounts while maintaining an accurate sales pipeline.
  • Engage with customers and channel partners to promote market adoption of ThousandEyes solutions.
  • Lead discussions on pricing and contract negotiations.
  • Establish long-term strategic relationships with clients.
  • Ensure meticulous maintenance of accounts, forecasts, proposals, and account activities.
  • Commit to ensuring customer success at every stage.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales territory management with a technology vendor, focusing on enterprise software sales to network stakeholders. Experience in SaaS sales is essential.
  • A proven history of consistently surpassing sales quotas.
  • Self-driven, adept at problem-solving, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, embodying a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in both French and English is required.
