Material Handling Technician

Key Responsibilities- Prepare finished products for shipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to designated locations.
- Oversee the final stages of order fulfillment, guaranteeing accurate loading and completion of shipping documentation.
- Engage in various tasks including packing, loading outbound shipments, unloading inbound goods, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
- Monitor the quality of finished products, promptly reporting any discrepancies.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and housekeeping throughout the work environment.
- Ensure pallet storage areas are well-stocked and operational.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and compliance with operational procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to work at elevated heights.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Not unusually sensitive to chemicals.
- Vision correctable to 20/20.
- Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete surfaces.
- Willingness to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Physical agility to bend, stoop, twist, and climb stairs.
- Adaptability to varying temperature and environmental conditions.
- Forklift operation requires OSHA certification and frequent movement in and out of the vehicle.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Enthusiasm for working and learning in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred experience of at least one year in a manufacturing role.
