Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter - Exhibit Technician to join our team at PrideStaff. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for creating large-scale exhibit environments that showcase our clients' products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and prepare materials, fittings, and tools for each task, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Cut and shape resources to precise specifications, using a variety of techniques and equipment.
  • Apply laminate and other finishes to create visually appealing and durable exhibit components.
  • Plan and coordinate projects to ensure timely completion and meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with Shop Foreman and Project Managers to ensure projects are completed to specification and meet quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to inform fabrication decisions.
  • Assist with exhibit development and lead the carpentry aspect of the fabrication process, ensuring attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Construct carts and/or crates to ensure the safe transportation of exhibits, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of our fabrication team.
Requirements
  • Experience in finish carpentry, woodworking, or cabinet making, with a strong understanding of materials and techniques.
  • Previous exhibit house experience is a plus, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of woodworking materials, including woods, laminates, and finishes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Consistent attention to detail and a dedication to excellence, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
