Primary Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute detailed quality control strategies and protocols tailored to construction projects, covering both vertical (building) and civil engineering tasks.
  • Perform thorough inspections and evaluations to ensure adherence to project specifications, regulatory standards, and industry benchmarks.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to swiftly resolve quality concerns and implement effective corrective measures.
  • Maintain precise documentation of quality assurance efforts, including inspection records, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality performance indicators.
  • Lead and mentor QC inspectors and technicians, ensuring compliance with established quality standards and promoting continuous improvement practices.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and facilitate problem-solving initiatives to improve construction quality, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate third-party quality assessments and ensure alignment with project timelines and contractual commitments.
  • Monitor and evaluate quality performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and encourage innovation in construction quality methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in quality control management within the construction field, emphasizing both vertical (building) and civil construction projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction techniques, materials, and quality standards relevant to building and civil engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and contractual obligations.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and quality auditing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
