Job Description: As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for assisting an elderly patient in Plainfield, NJ. Your primary responsibilities include providing compassionate care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), bathing, feeding, medication management, and meal preparation. You will also engage the patient in meaningful activities and companionship, maintain a safe and clean environment, and communicate effectively with the patient, family members, and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  2. Administer medication as prescribed.
  3. Prepare and serve nutritious home-cooked meals.
  4. Engage the patient in meaningful activities and companionship.
  5. Maintain a safe and clean environment.
  6. Communicate effectively with the patient, family members, and healthcare providers.
Requirements:
  • Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in the state of New Jersey.
  • Previous experience working with Alzheimers patients.
  • Ability to prepare and cook homemade meals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Alzheimers care.
  • Passion for cooking and meal preparation.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
